Rebirth in the Interstellar Meow Meow Meow 107

Ruan Ling'an Returns to the Marshal’s Mansion

After that, he was busy with training and didn’t pay any further attention to that “little sister” of his. He figured that if anything really important happened, his dad would definitely contact him.

Unexpectedly, today he heard news about that little girl again—though it came from his roommate’s mouth, and it involved his older brother as well.

His older brother, the kind of person he was, would be close with that little girl?

“Take a look.”

Rong Jun sent him a picture he’d downloaded from the internet.

“That’s your brother, right? And the small one is your sister?”

They’d all heard about his sister once before, but they hadn’t paid much attention, thinking it was a one-off curiosity.

But while casually browsing the star network today, they stumbled across it.

From the discussion in the comments, they found out that Ruan Ling’an’s sister had already been trending multiple times. However, previous photos and videos of her seemed to have been taken down.

What a pity.

After all, the camera distance was a bit far, and her face wasn’t very clear.

But even just the sight of her small figure looked pretty adorable.

Ruan Ling’an looked at the picture where his brother had taken on his star beast form, lazily sprawled on the grass, even letting someone get so close to him to groom his fur!

His eyes widened slightly, blurting out, “Ruan Fengsi must be out of his mind!”

The words came out almost reflexively.

The other three weren’t surprised at all; calling his own brother by his full name was hardly uncommon for him. Sometimes, when he was furious at home, he’d even call his parents by their full names.

Rong Jun smirked, “Isn’t it kind of unbelievable? By the way, does your little sister have some kind of… special ability? I saw people in the comments mentioning that she trended before with your dad, and maybe your cousin, too.”

He wiggled his eyebrows in a teasing way. “Let’s see how long it takes before she wins you over too.”

Ruan Ling’an scoffed, hands in his pockets. “As if that would ever happen.”

He would never hang out with a little kid. Honestly, he suspected his dad and his brother were losing their minds.

Not thinking much of it, Ruan Ling’an turned his attention to his game.

Still, he did need to go home soon and have a word with his brother.

Feeling a bit irritated, he noticed someone in his team was intentionally sabotaging his game. Ruan Ling’an laughed, but there was something almost chilling about it.

Rong Jun rubbed his arms. “Looks like someone’s in trouble.”

Ruan Ling’an had a reputation at school as the most intense of the male gods. There was definitely a unique charm to him.

To those who didn’t know his true nature, he appeared rebellious, ambitious, and powerful.

All these traits were a plus in everyone’s eyes, but few realized that, at his core, he was a bit unhinged.

If someone crossed him without being able to handle the consequences, they’d better start thinking about how to save their own skin.

There was a senior student once who couldn’t stand him and used underhanded tricks to make him get injured during training.

Ruan Ling’an went completely berserk on the spot. With blood still trickling down, he charged at that guy right in front of everyone, fighting with no regard for his own safety. The teachers couldn’t even control him.

The result was a lose-lose situation; both of them ended up in the infirmary. But as soon as his wounds were bandaged, that very night he dragged his mummified-looking self to that senior’s hospital room and gave him another solid beating.

Things got so bad that the hospital had to transfer one of them to another facility, fearing that this mad dog would come back for another round at night.

And that wasn’t the end. Every time he saw that senior on campus, he’d pick a fight. The school’s warnings had zero effect on him. It wasn’t until that senior was so terrified of him that he got down on his knees and begged for mercy that Ruan Ling’an finally let him off.

From then on, that senior couldn’t even hear Ruan Ling’an’s name without trembling, afraid he’d pop out of nowhere to beat him up again.

“What the hell, why are you attacking me, War God Lingfeng?”

Ruan Ling’an’s in-game ID was “War God Lingfeng.”

In the game, Ruan Ling’an killed the teammate who had been sabotaging him—and that wasn’t enough. He camped by the spot where they respawned, killing them every time they came back to life.

With a menacing grin, he said, “Dare to mess with me? You’ve got a death wish!”

The teammate on the other side: “…”

Damn, they ran into a maniac. Just their luck!

After killing the guy ten times, and with the opponent finally quitting out of frustration, Ruan Ling’an leisurely propped his legs on the table, exuding a sense of unrestrained arrogance.

Rong Jun could only roll his eyes. And yet, so many people were still after him. Those girls at school must be blind.

The next morning, after finishing training, he packed up his things and headed home.

School offered a break once a month, but it had been ages since Ruan Ling’an last went home.

There wasn’t really anyone around at home, so he figured he might as well stay at school and train.

Today, Ruan Shu didn’t accompany her older brother to his office because he had an important business meeting, and it wouldn’t be appropriate to take her along.

So, she stayed at home with the old butler. Before leaving, both her dad and older brother had expressed their concerns repeatedly, feeling a bit guilty about not being able to spend time with her.

In the end, it was Ruan Shu who ended up comforting and reassuring them instead.

As soon as they left, Ruan Shu got to work on her craft project.

A fur-ball charm.

The idea had come to her after seeing the loose fur brushed off her older brother’s star beast form.

She had all her tools ready, but since this was her first time making one, she handled everything very carefully.

Even so, she fumbled around for a while before finally managing to create a small, irregular fur ball.

“Let’s refine it a bit.”

At her current skill level, there was no way she’d be able to make a fur doll that looked like her older brother.

Ruan Shu sat there, her posture prim and proper, with a pair of furry ears on her head occasionally twitching, and a beautiful, fluffy tail swaying leisurely behind her.

When Ruan Ling’an got back, the first thing he saw was a small figure sitting in the yard, her back facing him, absorbed in some unknown activity.

As he got closer, he could hear her softly humming an unfamiliar tune.

“Ruan Fengsi?”

“Pfft…”

Ruan Shu was startled by the sudden voice, her hand trembling as she accidentally pricked her finger with the needle.

She clutched her finger, which now had a tiny puncture wound, sniffing as her little nose twitched. Her ears drooped flat like airplane wings, and she turned to look up at the figure behind her with teary eyes, trying hard not to cry.

“Third Brother, Big Brother… he went to work,” she said softly, her voice slightly nasal. She wasn’t trying to cry, but it really hurt! (t ^ t)

Ruan Ling’an: “…”

He hadn’t expected that just speaking would lead to this.

With an irritated scratch of his head, he picked her up without warning, slinging her over his shoulder.

“So useless, crying over a tiny scratch like this.”

Dangling upside down, Ruan Shu’s head started to feel a bit dizzy from the blood rushing down. She squirmed, flapping her little arms and legs, but with her tiny strength, she was no match for Ruan Ling’an’s hold.

Clutching her bleeding finger, her ears and tail drooping pitifully, she murmured in a small voice, “It really hurts.”

Ruan Ling’an just huffed, “Pathetic.”

Once inside, he found some medicine, sprayed it on her finger carelessly, and then tossed her a band-aid.

“Put it on yourself.”

With that, he left her there and went upstairs.
