Rebirth in the Interstellar Meow Meow Meow 130

Just... Super Heart-Throbbing

Ruan Shu obediently let her four soft, limp little paws dangle, not moving until she was nestled into the large cat’s paw pads.

Instinctively, she pressed her little paw pads against the big tiger’s paw pad — it was surprisingly bouncy.

The Qilin Tiger lowered his huge head, his eyes filled with amusement as he looked at the little kitten playing with his paw.

“Meow~”

After pressing Grandpa’s paw pads for a while, Ruan Shu suddenly realized what she was doing and, feeling a bit shy, let out a soft, milk-sweet meow, rubbing her fluffy little body against Grandpa’s face.

Ruan He gave the soft fur of the ragdoll kitten a lick, nearly causing Ruan Shu to slip right out of his paw.

Ruan Shu: “…”

She thought if Grandpa kept licking her like this, all her fur might get licked right off!

“Roar!” Ruan He, feeling a bit guilty, quickly helped the little one steady herself.

‘Good granddaughter, climb up on Grandpa’s head and play.’

Ruan He used his huge body as a plaything, encouraging his timid granddaughter to use him as a slide.

“Meow~”

The little ragdoll kitten let out a soft meow, affectionately rubbing her fluffy little head against Grandpa’s nose.

Ruan He lowered his head, pressing his nose close so she could climb up at her own pace.

The kitten’s body was much more agile, but with the tiger’s enormous head, climbing it felt almost like scaling a mountain to her.

Ruan Shu was extremely careful, making sure not to step on Grandpa’s eyes or extend her claws to grip him.

Little did she know, with her light weight, Ruan He would have loved for her to press her tiny paws all over his face.

How could his granddaughter be so adorable?

The Qilin Tiger happily swished his tail but kept his head still, worried that even a slight movement might cause his dear granddaughter to fall.

When he felt her soft little paws reach the top of his head, Ruan He’s ears twitched.

The little ragdoll kitten, standing atop the huge tiger’s head, paused, tilting her head curiously to look at the horn on Grandpa’s head.

Its color was much deeper and larger than her father’s.

Cautiously, she raised a little paw to touch it, only to pull back quickly.

Grandpa didn’t seem to react.

Ruan He didn’t rush her; he was just happy to have his little granddaughter staying with him.

The big tiger’s face showed a contented expression, his thick tail swishing gently back and forth.

Grandpa’s beast form was enormous, so even if the little ragdoll kitten rolled around on top of him, she wouldn’t easily fall off.

This made her feel very secure.

Her little paws pressed down, giving Grandpa’s head a thorough massage, her beautiful blue eyes sparkling brightly.

No one can resist a cat’s massage, not even the cat herself! It was a pity there were no small cats in this world — only big ones, which meant she’d have to rely on herself for massages.

Ruan Shu imagined for a second what it would be like if a massive paw pressed down on her. She’d probably be squashed out of existence!

Shaking her little head, she turned around to look back. From this angle, the Qilin Tiger’s broad, smooth back looked perfect for sliding down.

Recalling Grandpa’s suggestion to use his body as a slide made her heart race.

She glanced at the big tiger lying on the ground with a contented expression. Ruan Shu tucked her paws in and, since her heart was set on it, decided to take a small step toward action. After all, Grandpa had taught her to play like this.

Convincing herself, Ruan Shu cautiously slid down the big tiger’s back.

With Grandpa’s careful control, she landed safely at the tail’s end, her eyes lighting up with excitement.

Again!

Slides were something she’d seen in kindergarten, but her shyness and insecurity had kept her from playing with the other kids. In her past life, she had envied them, sliding down with their parents looking after them.

But now, she had an enormous, indulgent tiger grandpa all to herself! Ruan Shu’s tail swayed back and forth in joy.

No other kid could compare to her now — who else had a grandpa as mighty as her Qilin Tiger?

She didn’t feel even a hint of fear; instead, she felt full of security.

Her excitement still sparkling in her blue eyes, Ruan Shu trotted back over to Grandpa, eagerly climbing back up his head with his patient indulgence.

“Shushu, if you like it, keep playing. Grandpa can stay and play with you until you’re tired, and we can continue tomorrow too.”

After all, he was retired now. Apart from looking for clues about his eldest son’s disappearance, he had little to do. Spending time with his granddaughter at home was just perfect.

Thinking this, Ruan He grew even happier.

Ruan Shu let out a gentle purr, rubbing against Grandpa’s ear before continuing her game.

Eventually, she grew tired, and her little belly was full, so her energy started to fade. Standing atop Grandpa’s head, she yawned, her white little paws unconsciously pressing down on Grandpa’s skin, kneading like a kitten.

Her clean, bright blue eyes grew hazy and sleepy.

Clearly, she was ready for a nap.

Ruan Shu didn’t know how she drifted off; all she knew was that she fell asleep comfortably on the big tiger’s head, cozy and relaxed.

Ruan He lay still, not daring to move, afraid that even the slightest shift might shake his little one sleeping by his ear.

But feeling the soft, gentle rhythm of his granddaughter’s breaths, the big tiger’s furry face lit up with a tender smile.

The butler nearby held up his device, snapping photos and videos. No matter the angle, the little miss looked beautiful and sweet.

Ruan He growled softly at him, signaling that he wanted a copy of all the photos taken.

After all, he had to bring these photos to brag to his old friends!

The butler understood; he was well-practiced in this.

When Ruan Fengsi returned, he was surprised to see his grandfather there. After a brief greeting, Ruan He gave him a symbolic inquiry about his company affairs, and they left it at that.

Ruan Fengsi did, however, ask him about news of his older cousin. His cousin was often away, searching far and wide for clues about their uncle’s disappearance.

When Ruan He mentioned his eldest grandson, he sighed. “He’s stationed at the outer star systems, the last place your uncle and his team were seen. But so far, there are still no leads.”

How could so many people just vanish without a trace?

After sending his grandson off, Ruan He couldn’t wait to share some photos in his friend group.

Ruan He: [Image] [Video]

Ruan He: My granddaughter, fell asleep on my head. Isn’t she well-behaved?

In the picture, the soft-looking ragdoll kitten was curled up into a little ball, looking even smaller on top of the big tiger’s head.

Meanwhile, the Qilin Tiger’s massive face displayed a smile filled with unmistakable pride and a touch of smugness.

Old He: ???

Old Yuan: ???

Old Xiao: What’s going on???

Everyone: Since when did you have a granddaughter?
