Rebirth in the Interstellar Meow Meow Meow 232

I Want to Hit Him

“The star beasts on Yunxia Star are mostly winged bird-type star beasts. The leader of the planet is a peacock star beast, and they adore romance.”

Just then, Ruan Fengsi’s voice sounded, “Romantic? They’re just a bunch of narcissists. They’re definitely not as tough as we are.”

Ruan Xinglan clicked his tongue, “If you ask me, compared to them, you and the third brother are more like uncivilized beasts.”

Ruan Fengsi immediately swung a fist at him, but as if expecting it, Ruan Xinglan easily raised his hand and caught the punch.

“See? Can’t handle a little provocation and always resorts to fists.”

Ruan Fengsi glared at him viciously, as if they were mortal enemies rather than blood brothers.

“Looking for trouble, Ruan Xinglan?”

No one paid much attention to the brothers’ argument; everyone went about their own business as usual.

“Over there is Krim Star, an agricultural planet…”

Through Almer’s introductions, Ruan Shu got to know many planets.

The excitement and thrill eventually wore her out, and she began to feel drowsy, her eyelids drooping.

Half-asleep, she felt someone lift her up.

The scent at her nose was familiar, so she didn’t struggle and nestled comfortably into the embrace.

But someone else was not so calm.

Ruan Fengsi said, “She’s my sister; there’s no need for Your Majesty to bother. Let me hold her.”

He almost looked like he was ready to snatch her back.

Almer raised an eyebrow slightly.

“No need. It’s less trouble if she stays put; don’t want to wake Shushu.”

When others tried to speak, he raised a finger in a silent gesture.

“You wouldn’t want to make too much noise and wake her up, would you?”

Everyone else: “…”

You’re way too righteous about this! She’s not even your sister!

Ruan Fengsi rolled his eyes in frustration.

But truthfully, no one wanted to wake Shushu.

When Ruan Shu finally woke up, she was still in a daze, looking blankly at the unfamiliar surroundings around her.

“Not fully awake yet?”

Hearing the voice above her, Ruan Shu looked up dazedly, her big eyes staring at the person close by, looking like a soft, sleepy dumpling not fully aware of her surroundings.

After a few seconds, she reached up, cradled the handsome face in front of her, and gave it a gentle squeeze.

“Almer?”

She softly murmured his name.

Almer raised an eyebrow, indulgently allowing the little mascot who dared to pinch his face.

“What’s wrong? Did you sleep yourself silly?”

Ruan Shu blinked, as if just realizing what was happening.

It seemed… they were on the spaceship now.

Still half-asleep, she had thought she was at home, and her eyes must have played tricks on her.

Letting go of Almer’s face, Ruan Shu’s cheeks flushed with a hint of embarrassment.

“Sorry.”

Almer was about to reply when someone leaned over. “Shushu, you’re awake? Come change clothes if you’re up.”

Completely ignoring the emperor’s gaze, Ruan Fengsi naturally scooped his little sister into his arms.

“Your Majesty held Shushu the whole way; you must be tired. Leave the rest to us.”

Ruan Fengsi flashed a big grin.

Watching his empty hands, Almer felt a twinge of regret, wondering if he might ever have the chance to whisk away this little mascot and keep her separate from her brothers. It seemed a bit unethical, but…

Almer brushed the last bits of his conscience aside. Who needs ethics? The dark-hearted dragon had no clue what that even meant.

“Are we there?” Ruan Shu, now in her elder brother’s arms, gazed outside in awe at the snowy world beyond.

In her previous life, she’d lived in the south, where even in the coldest winter, snow was rare, let alone a scene like this—where it seemed the entire world was blanketed in white.

She was transfixed, until a pair of glasses was gently placed on her.

“Don’t stare too long—it’ll strain your eyes.”

“Okay,” she obediently replied, and after the glasses, her brothers added something around her wrist.

Ruan Xinglan explained, “A thermostat. This way, you won’t feel too cold.”

They still dressed her in a cozy, thick coat, though.

It was a one-piece, polar bear-style outfit.

Standing obediently, Ruan Shu let them wrap her in a scarf and place a hat with little ears on her head.

Already short and plump, she now looked like an actual baby polar bear in the fluffy one-piece.

Her brothers were painstakingly dressing her up and then casually snapped a photo or two.

Ruan Xinglan, stroking his chin, looked at her with a smile in his eyes.

“I told you, she’s perfect for these kinds of outfits.”

Ruan Fengsi pulled out another one-piece suit from the suitcase—a snow bunny style this time.

“Next time, let’s try this one!”

Ruan Shu stared wordlessly at her brothers, who were enthusiastically discussing outfit options.

“Ahem… Well, we bought all these outfits, and if you don’t wear them soon, you’ll outgrow them, and that’d be such a waste, right?” Ruan Fengsi explained seriously. “Besides, we didn’t buy them. Your dad did.”

Ruan Shu muttered, “He’s also your dad.”

Ruan Fengsi shrugged nonchalantly. “Whatever.”

Ruan Shu: ……

Whatever? Since when is this something you can just brush off?

Almer raised an eyebrow. “The Marshal bought these outfits?”

With cheeks flushed, Ruan Shu nodded. Yes, he had, and he’d even let her try them on before buying. Many of the designs were custom-made afterward.

Almer remarked, “I didn’t expect the Marshal to have such a playful side.”

Ruan Shu: Put that camera down!

As soon as Ruan Shu arrived on this unfamiliar planet, she turned into a short, chubby bear cub. Everything was fine, except… walking through the snow was exhausting.

Each step left her in a snow pit, and with her short legs, she had to lift her foot high for each step.

The Pink Maiden, afraid of the cold, burrowed deep inside her clothes, hiding in her hat and refusing to come out.

Ruan Shu looked at the endless white expanse. How long would it take to get anywhere at this pace? And… which direction should they even go?

The next second, Almer scooped her up.

“Why walk? We’re waiting for a vehicle to pick us up.”

Ruan Shu felt relieved. Thank goodness—so there was transportation after all. She’d been worried they’d have to brave the snowy wilderness.

On Snowfall Star, regular land vehicles were useless. Transportation usually consisted of snowmobiles, hovercars, or civilian aircraft unique to Snowfall Star.

Their ride was a snowmobile—a large vehicle, where wheels would typically be, there were sled-like runners.

“Hello! Did someone call a ride? Hop in quickly—the snowstorm’s coming soon.”

The driver, a young, cheerful man, glanced at the group and immediately focused on the smallest, plumpest figure—Ruan Shu. His expression shifted to exaggerated delight.

“By the Beast God, this cub is adorable! Are you guys selling cubs?”

The group stared at him expressionlessly.

Ruan Shu snuggled closer into Almer’s arms.

Ruan Fengsi: “I want to hit him.”

Ruan Xinglan wore a “kind” smile. “What a coincidence, so do I.”
