Rebirth in the Interstellar Meow Meow Meow Chapter 99

Let Go of All Troubles

Ruan Qingran had somehow managed to order a Zerg corpse. Dressed in a white lab coat and wearing gloves, he set a surgical toolkit beside him.

When Ruan Fengsi walked out, he saw that the guy had already dissected the huge, grotesque insect.

With a calm expression, he used a scalpel to completely remove the insect’s head in one piece—a sight enough to make anyone’s skin crawl.

Ruan Fengsi:…This freak!

When Ruan Shu finally woke up, it was already afternoon. She had slept deeply, and it seemed she’d dreamed again.

But it wasn’t a nightmare this time. She felt as if she were being cradled by a pair of warm hands, which gave her a sense of security and comfort.

Opening her eyes, she twitched her ears, rubbed her fluffy little face with her paw, and then looked up.

“You’re awake.”

Ruan Shu’s watery eyes followed the direction of the voice and saw her father’s face.

She froze, her little head raised, motionless.

Ruan Xiao gently scratched her soft little chin with his finger, and the kitten tilted her chin, pressing it against his finger.

She remembered—she had told him everything, and her father had acknowledged her as his daughter, still caring for her so much.

In her blue eyes, her father’s face reflected a slightly worried expression. In that instant, she felt like the happiest little kitten in the world.

“Meow~”

Ruan Shu tilted her head, nuzzling her father’s finger affectionately.

This was her father; she no longer had to worry. She could start trying to forget that brief, past life and let go of all her troubles!

Ruan Shu felt more relaxed than ever, her voice soft and sweet as she meowed and snuggled against her father’s hand. She clung to his hand with her fluffy little white paws, unwilling to let go, her furry tail swaying happily.

Ruan Xiao looked down at the little one clinging to his hand, her gentle, spoiled demeanor bringing a genuine smile to his face—this time, a distinct smile.

“It’s time to eat. I got you your favorite little dried fish.”

Another familiar voice rang out, and the kitten turned her head to look.

It was her big brother.

Ruan Shu looked at him with her big, round, innocent eyes.

“Meow~”

Why had her big brother come back?

Her soft, tender meow sounded sweet and lively, filled with newfound energy.

It seemed that after this nap, she was in a much better state.

This was a good sign. Just as Shen Yu had said, releasing the grievances she’d been holding onto had indeed done her good.

“Gurgle, gurgle~”

Ruan Shu had slept a little longer than usual, nearly until dinnertime, and no one had the heart to wake her.

So now her little belly was rumbling with hunger.

The little one was carried to the dining table, her pretty, soft Ragdoll cat self perking up to peer at the food.

Her stomach grumbled, and she stretched her front paws onto the table, standing up to get a better look with eager eyes.

Braised fish, grilled scallops, garlic vermicelli prawns…

All her favorite foods.

Ruan Shu’s tail flicked with excitement. Just as she thought of hopping down from her father’s arms to change into her human form for eating, a lovely, small dish was placed in front of her, holding a plump piece of shrimp along with vermicelli and sauce.

“Go ahead, eat,” her father said.

Ruan Shu tilted her head, looking at him with a bit of confusion. Did he mean for her to eat just like this?

“I’ll hold you while you eat.”

She couldn’t help but be moved. Being held by her father as she ate felt so delightful.

Her tail started to sway happily again.

Though she hesitated a bit, her body betrayed her hunger as she opened her mouth and began eating with little nibbles.

Even though she was hungry, she ate delicately, trying not to get her fur messy. When she finished, she licked her mouth, her tongue sweeping every bit clean from her plate.

Then, another generous piece of scallop appeared on her little plate.

After that, a soft piece of fish belly was added—the tenderest, tastiest part of the fish.

The only challenge with this fish was the number of bones, but her brother, Qingran, carefully removed every bone before serving it to her.

Ruan Shu’s tail swayed even more excitedly.

“Meow meow meow…”

‘Dad, you should eat too!’

Her dad and brother took turns adding delicious treats to her plate, and Ruan Shu’s little ears twitched in delight. She truly felt like the happiest kitten in the world!

Her little belly was now round and full. No longer able to eat, she sat comfortably on her father’s lap, licking her paws and grooming her face with satisfaction.

She even gave her little tummy a pat. Although it was now plump from all the food, it remained soft and squishy—perfectly cozy.

Ruan Xiao glanced down and gave her tummy a gentle press.

Ruan Shu immediately curled her tail and lay flat, with her fluffy little paws resting above her soft, round belly, completely exposed.

Such a position would be dangerous for most animals, but as a pampered kitty, she had no need to worry about safety—she had her dad.

Ruan Xiao’s gaze softened as he held his daughter, then stood up and carried her outside the villa.

Once they were outside, he set her down, then transformed into a magnificent, majestic Qilin tiger right before her eyes.

Ruan Xiao controlled his size, but even at his smallest, he stood over three meters tall. To Ruan Shu, her dad was like a towering mountain—no matter how high she tilted her little head, she couldn’t see all of him.

The Ragdoll cat took a curious look at her dad’s enormous tiger paw and cautiously stepped onto it.

There was a dip on the back of his paw that was just big enough to fit her perfectly.

Ruan Shu tapped her little paws against her dad’s tiger paw, feeling a bit envious. If only she could grow as big as her dad—then she’d be super powerful!

A deep growl came from the Qilin tiger, and Ruan Shu’s fluffy ears twitched.

She heard her dad’s words, instructing her to walk with him to help digest her meal.

With her beautiful, utterly non-threatening tail flicking behind her, Ruan Shu trotted along, her tiny paws tapping in little steps as she obediently followed her dad to walk off her meal.

However, next to the Qilin tiger, she looked so tiny. For every step her dad took, she had to scurry several times to keep up.

And so, the scene on the Ruan family estate lawn looked like this: the Qilin tiger took a leisurely stroll, while a fluffy little ball, resembling a dandelion puff, scurried along, dashing frantically to keep pace.

Ruan Xiao walked so slowly that he had to stop and wait after every step so Ruan Shu wouldn’t have to run too fast to catch up.

The kitten glanced up longingly at her dad’s long legs, then looked down at her own short ones and sighed.

After alternating between trotting and strolling for an hour, the little kitten was exhausted. She sprawled on the ground, tongue out, completely drained.

The Qilin tiger lay down beside her. ‘Climb on.’

Ruan Shu immediately perked up and, with all her might, tried to climb onto her dad’s back.

But her paws were weak after running for so long. She jumped up, clinging halfway, then slid down with a little yelp, rolling twice on the ground before coming to a stop.

Ruan Shu lay there, dazed and dizzy from all the tumbling.
