The Taoist Boss Is Dominating The Horror World 19

The Eerie Passenger

The male ghost’s body was immobilized by a talisman, leaving only his lone head with its eyes rolling back in anger.

This shameless human now cared about the passengers’ safety? Who was it that just a moment ago snipped the driver’s head off with scissors and tossed it out of the bus?

Hah, what a double-standard dog!

“You cunning, treacherous woman! I suggest you return my body at once, or I’ll tear you to pieces, bite your flesh off chunk by chunk, and leave not even a crumb of your bones behind!” His eyes bulged with rage, and his rotten, grotesque face twisted into an ugly mass of fury, resembling a pile of decayed meat—utterly repulsive.

[Is this male ghost’s brain made of mush? At this point, he still dares to threaten our country girl?]

[Serves him right! How dare he mock our village girl and call her a lousy driver? That’s clearly slander—she’s a road menace extraordinaire!]

[Big deal, he’s already dead and a ghost anyway. Dying again won’t make a difference, but insulting our country girl’s driving skills? Absolutely unacceptable!]

As the male ghost’s pitiful state unfolded, viewers in the livestream couldn’t help but crack jokes from behind their screens.

Qing Li lazily dug at her ear and remarked, “The last one who spoke to me like that—his head and body were tossed out together.”

The male ghost ground his teeth, completely powerless without control over his body, like a slab of rotten meat waiting to be butchered.

His bulging eyes brimmed with resentment.

In the Horror World, humans were considered the lowest of the low—mere garbage and food.

And now, he was being dominated by a human woman!

“I won’t let you off, you wretched woman, I’ll… ahh—giao!”

Before he could finish his threat, Qing Li sent his head flying with a single kick, reuniting him with the driver.

“Finally, some peace and quiet,” Qing Li muttered as she returned to the driver’s seat.

The entire bus of ghosts was momentarily stunned by her display of dominance.

“Don’t worry, everyone. As long as you’re obedient and well-behaved passengers, I’ll be gentle and ensure you safely reach your destination.” Qing Li reassured the passengers with a sweet smile.

The ghosts: “…”

This was the first time they’d been threatened by a human!

Some of the ghosts were displeased with Qing Li’s actions, but under her overwhelming authority, they had no choice but to suppress their grievances.

Bai Yueyue, watching Qing Li subdue the ghost with a talisman, felt a flash of shock in her eyes.

Exchanging glances with Li Tao and Wang Ge, she wondered if this little exorcist actually knew some strange and unorthodox methods.

Thinking about her protective talisman worth 100,000 popularity points, the three of them started scheming.

Bai Yueyue was about to speak up and take the initiative to purchase Qing Li’s talisman, but before she could open her mouth, the bus suddenly accelerated, nearly throwing her out of her seat.

Navigation System: “Current speed: 250 km/h. You are speeding. Please reduce your speed. If you crash and die, insurance won’t cover it!”

“Driver No. 91, slow down, slow down—ahhhh!”

Wang Ge let out a blood-curdling scream as the bus wobbled wildly at high speed. Despite fastening his seatbelt, he couldn’t withstand the ghost that had been flung onto him!

A ghostly old woman with a face full of crevices and disheveled hair landed on Wang Ge, cackling: “Oh, my dear boy, such tender and smooth skin. You look absolutely delicious! Keh-keh-keh!”

In an instant, tears streamed down Wang Ge’s face, and a chilling sensation spread through his pants.

Help meee—

“No can do,” Qing Li replied earnestly, “It’s already 11:30. According to the Bus Driver Employee Handbook, there’s only half an hour left before my shift ends. It’s my first day on the job—how could I work overtime?”

Wang Ge’s stream of curses got stuck in his throat, ultimately transforming into a series of high-pitched screams.

“Ahhhhhh—”

To hell with your Employee Handbook!

But Qing Li wasn’t lying. Upon becoming a bus driver, her personal info panel suddenly updated with a new entry:

Occupation: Night Shift Bus Driver

Working Hours: 18:00–24:00

Salary: 0

Hah, not a single cent for pay, and they still expected her to work overtime? Dream on!

With her foot firmly on the accelerator, Qing Li was determined to clock out on time. She swore never to let capitalism exploit her labor.

Meanwhile, inside the bus, only Chu Ci remained unshaken. The ghosts, on the other hand, were flung around, their limbs flying everywhere, while the remaining three players found themselves in less-than-ideal situations.

“Where’s my arm?”

“Who took my arm? Whoever has it, give it back right now!”

“Where’s my eyeball? My eyeball fell out! Someone help me find it—I can’t see anything.”

Li Tao, sitting by the window, was shaken so violently he felt nauseous. Suddenly, he sensed something drop into his mouth. A wave of revulsion surged through his stomach.

He quickly spat out whatever it was. In his palm lay an eyeball, roughly the size of a ping-pong ball, its pupil rolling around as if looking at him.

“Ah, young man! So that’s where my eyeball ended up!”

A ghostly face appeared inches from his, its eye sockets reduced to dark, gaping holes from which oozed black blood. The putrid stench was overwhelming.

“Gi-gi-gi… Give… give…”

Give it back.

Li Tao trembled so hard he looked like he was having a seizure before passing out cold from sheer terror. (TL: Second time reading this but I’m still laughing my ass out)

Beside him, Wang Ge saw what had happened and knew something was wrong. Fighting his own fear, he slapped Li Tao’s face with two sharp smacks.

Tears and snot streaming down his face, he cried, “Bro, you can’t pass out! You’re leaving me to face this horror alone? My heart can’t take it!”

“It’s okay, young man. I’ll keep you company. Keh-keh-keh,” said the old ghost woman hanging off Wang Ge, her tone oddly grandmotherly.

Giao—”

Wang Ge gasped for breath, his eyes rolling back as he fainted on the spot.

Seeing both men out cold, Bai Yueyue simply closed her eyes and pretended to faint as well. If you can’t beat them, join them, right?

Just then, the navigation system chimed in with a friendly reminder:

“Passenger spotted 100 meters ahead. You may stop to pick them up or choose to run them over and kill the bastard.”

“A passenger?”

The little tuft of hair on Qing Li’s head perked up as she slammed on the brakes.

In the back of the bus, inertia caused another wave of chaos—screaming, flailing, and sheer pandemonium filled the cabin.

By now, the bus had left the suburbs, and darkness engulfed the surroundings. The only illumination came from the bus’s headlights, casting a lonely glow on the asphalt road ahead. On the pavement, the squashed remains of shattered corpses could be faintly seen, flattened and blending into the road itself.

Creak—”

The bus door opened.

On the dimly lit roadside, a humanoid shadow stood motionless. A cold, biting wind swept in, chilling the interior of the bus. With the windshield missing, the gusts buffeted Qing Li’s little tuft of hair, making it sway wildly.

“Hi there, handsome! Need a ride?” Qing Li called out cheerfully.

A new passenger meant she could collect some fare, right? That wouldn’t be unreasonable!

Her eyes lit up with excitement as she looked at the shadow, her gaze as sharp as a wolf eyeing a plump sheep.

The shadow, seemingly oblivious to the danger, shifted slightly and began to approach the bus at a slow pace.

As it got closer, Qing Li finally got a clear look. The figure had no facial features—no eyes, nose, or mouth. Instead, in the center of its “face” was an organ shaped disturbingly like a chrysanthemum (Anus 🙂).
